Kalau Canon IR 2935i itu untuk kantor sibuk, Canon IR 2945i ini untuk kantor yang super sibuk. Selisih 10 lembar per menit kedengarannya kecil, tapi kalau dikali sehari, seminggu, sebulan, bedanya bisa ribuan lembar. Di atas kertas, IR 2945i memang 45 ppm untuk A4, 22 ppm untuk A3. Tapi Canon tidak hanya menaikkan kecepatan. Mesin ini dirancang untuk tahan banting.
